When I first started making music, I had so many questions about where to begin. I started learning on GarageBand, then Logic 9, then Pro Tools, Logic X and finally found my home in Ableton. I had no idea what MIDI was and made all of my music without a controller at first. It was all the little things I had to learn and source myself, back when YouTube was just getting warm. Now there are floods of resources out there, but something about learning hands-on feels more important than ever. If you’re looking for some guidance with music production, at any stage, and you feel resonance with my style of music, I’d love to connect with you.
To see if mentorship feels aligned for us both, we’ll have a 1:1 15 minute zoom call where I’d love to learn what you’re working on, your vision, hopes and curiosities. In this call, we will both get a sense of our energies and can determine if mentorship is in flow.
Mentorship takes place virtually via 1.5 hour Zoom call where we give your ideas, lyrics, works-in-progress, demos, etc. a space to live and breathe. We work together to help you gain clarity on your project, generate ideas for production/writing, workshop exercises to get out of our heads and into our hearts with the intention of helping you finish - or at least proceed with clarity onto your next steps to finish - your project. Personal messaging is available for continued support throughout the month of your membership within defined business hours.
If mentorship with me ultimately does not align, know that there are always infinite factors of energy, capacity and right timing. I will do my best to direct you to other resources that could feel more resonant with your current needs.
